My husband and I live out in the beautiful countryside of the Irish Hills in Michigan. We’ve grown up with dogs and we have always loved beagles.

We breed Old English Pocket Beagles on a small farm where we also raise cattle. Our grandchildren all live nearby and love to come over and play with the puppies and give them lots of attention. Pocket Beagles are excellent with kids!

Beagles are affectionate, extremely intelligent, easy to train, clean and have an even temperament. Their gentle disposition makes them a great companion for children of all ages.

Traditional Beagles range in size of 13 to 15 1/2 inches, but the Pocket Beagle is between 10 to 12 inches.

Although these are a smaller type of beagle their characteristics are the same and they still have the hunting instinct.
